10th Hydroponic Farmers Federation Conference – Practical Hydroponics & Greenhouses

Hydroponic Farmers Federation of Victoiria Biennial hydroponic farmers conference and trade exhibition.

The 10th biennial Hydroponic Farmers Federation of Victoria (HFF) conference and technical exhibition will be held at the Mantra Lorne Resort, Apollo Bay, Victoria, from 8-10 June 2016. The HFF is an industry grower organisation whose membership includes commercial growers and industry representatives (businesses offering support to growers). The organisation is open to all hydroponic farmers Australia wide.

The HFF grew from a small self-help group to the large association it is today through a commitment to furthering the hydroponic industry through growers supporting each other.

The primary aims of the HFF is to provide representation and advocacy for and on behalf of its members to all levels of government and other relevant organisations on issues relevant to the hydroponic industry; to promote hydroponic produce and continue to develop its market share; enhance grower performance through education, training and networking; provide members with the opportunity to share the benefits of group purchasing and marketing; and to encourage and facilitate research relevant to the hydroponic industry.

Farm visits include Boomaroo Nursery, a world class vegetable seedling producer supplying around 300 million seedlings to growers across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.  The nursery also specialises in greenlife products, including potted colour (ornamental flowering plants), and are now one of Australia’s largest cyclamen producers.
